In 1985, business partners Ross Wilson and Ian Rudd became fed up with the excessively high energy bills and poor acoustics in Australian homes, and decided to research a solution.

Their research led them to a discovery some 60 years ago by homeowners in Europe and the United States. And that is, that even in the most bitter winters or sweltering summers, you can enjoy moderate room temperatures with minimal energy expended or wasted.

Effective, insulating, double glazing were the key. And as they discovered, one of the world leaders in this technology was a company by the name of CertainTeed, a trusted household name in the United States since 1904.

Ross and Ian successfully negotiated the licence to bring the CertainTeed 'double glazed window' technology to Australia. The rest as they say, ‘is history’. CertainTeed Australia has enjoyed exciting growth and an impeccable reputation for more than 24 years.

Each CertainTeed window starts out as a sketched drawing in a planning session with you. You get EXACTLY the window sizes you want at no extra cost. (You see, it doesn’t cost us any more to make purpose-made windows and doors for you.)

If it’s a new home your UPVC window and door frames will be delivered for your builder to install. Then we deliver and install the glass so you are guaranteed a great result.

If it’s a window replacement project, your windows will arrive on site, to be fitted by our installers.
